Major Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery processes.
• Lead the migration of operating systems and applications to modern cloud platforms, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum efficiency.
• Take ownership of our cloud infrastructure, including provisioning, configuration, and optimization of resources.
• Monitor system performance and reliability, troubleshooting and resolving issues as they arise.
• Implement and enforce security best practices to safeguard our infrastructure and data.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop proof-of-concepts for new infrastructure ideas aimed at enhancing our SaaS product.
• Mentor and support other team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies in DevOps and recommend innovative solutions to improve internal processes.
• Document infrastructure configurations, deployment processes, and troubleshooting guides to facilitate knowledge sharing and ensure consistent practices across teams.

• A Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience, in an IT-related field

• At least 3 years proven experience in a DevOps or similar role, with a track record of designing and implementing scalable and reliable cloud-based solutions.

• Extensive hands-on experience with cloud platforms, preferably GCP

• Strong proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.

• Expertise in containerization technologies (Docker) and container orchestration (Kubernetes).

• Solid understanding of CI/CD concepts and experience with related tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or GitHub Actions.

• In-depth knowledge of Linux/Unix systems administration and scripting (Bash, Python, etc.).

• Experience with monitoring and logging tools for proactive system management.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and articulate complex technical concepts.

• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude towards identifying and resolving issues.

• Comfortable taking ownership of critical infrastructure and making informed decisions to ensure operational excellence without compromising security or stability.
